About Us

By moving to British Columbia we are fulfilling our dream

of living out in the country,

running our own guest ranch

and welcoming travellers from all over the world

to our personal paradise.

"In Wildness is the preservation of the world. Every tree sends its fibers forth in search of the Wild...From the forest and wilderness come the tonics and barks which brace mankind."

Henry David Thoreau

Daniela

I have always been and will always be a nature-loving person. I have traded my office job for a life on our beautiful ranch in British Columbia with my family and the company of great guests from all over the world.

I will join you on trail rides and other outdoor activities and I am responsible for event planning.

I work as a professional dog trainer, specializing in service and guide dogs. I train dogs of all sizes, ages and colours. Whether you live here or spend your vacation at our ranch, I will be happy to help you with your training. My dogs Macho and Tiny help me by being reliable assistants for training your four legged friend. Click here for more information about me and the dog training.

Valaurie

I will take you on beautiful and adventurous trail rides through the Crown lands of BC. I give private or group riding lessons to guests of all ages and abilities and during school vacation I organize kids camps. Click here for more information.

After discovering my passion for horses at 6 years old,  I can now finally fulfil my dream of having a ranch with horses of my own. I am one out of two certified instructors of Monty Roberts horse training methods, which is based on the nature-given body language horses have and communicating with them in a non-violent way.

Before moving to British Columbia I completed a 3 year study programme and apprenticeship as a medical assistant.  I worked at a pediatrician's office for 2 years before changing fields to orthopedic doctors and hand surgeons.

I'm looking forward to meeting people from all over the world and giving them an unforgettable stay at our ranch.

Diana

Summers spent in cottage country and exploring Algonquin Park as I was growing up led to a love of nature. Years in the travel industry with my own travel agency, guiding groups to Europe, and travelling the world, gave me the love of foreign places, meeting new people and experiencing new cultures. It also led to a hobby of cooking new dishes from all corners of the world. As a mother with 2 adventurous, nature-loving daughters and summers as a camp counsellor , I've developed a love of children.

Now it's time to embark on a new adventure... together, as a family, in the South Cariboo of British Columbia, Canada.

I'm looking forward to sharing our piece of paradise with you so you can create your own precious memories.

Martin

I'm a former corporate monkey, now responsible for vegetables, fruits and berries, horse- and bullshit. With anyone adventurous and fit enough, I will go out on power hikes, overnighting in a tent, if so desired. With anyone insured enough, I will go mountain biking, atv-ing and snowmobiling. For no price will I go fishing. I compete with Diana in the kitchen and claim the grill as my very personal domain.
